Who is “Terry Wright” a.k.a. ‘The Anytime Man’? He is Coday Records’ Recording Artist and Writer. “Terry Wright” was born in Mason, TN and began playing lead and bass guitar in grade school at the tender age of eight. At the age of 16 “Terry” started a professional career in the studio by recording on songs that his father had written and produced.
“Terry” was first introduced to the world of Southern Soul Blues after his best friend the Late Ron Mac asked him to join him on the road by playing for the Blues Artist Carl Sims. “Terry” played bass guitar and opened shows for Carl Sims for four years. After a short break from the road “Terry” was asked by the Late Marvin Sease to join him as one of his musicians. Marvin was so pleased with “Terry’s” abilities he promoted “Terry” to Music Director. Three and a half years later “Terry” met Sir Charles Jones who in turn introduced him to the Late Senator Jones, CEO of ‘Help Me Records’.
From this introductory, a relationship was formed and in 2004, the birthing of “Terry’s” debut CD “Anytime Man” on ‘Help Me Records’. In 2006 “Terry” released his second CD “How Sweet Is Your Candy” on ‘MacWright Records’. Now “Terry” has teamed up with Anna Coday, CEO/Founder of ‘Coday Records’ (the late Bill Coday Widow) to birth his third CD. Since signing with the label, they have released a debut single on “Terry” entitled “She Whooped Me Good”.
“Terry” have gained notoriety in the industry with his hits such as: “Anytime Man”, “Back Road”, “Two Women In Love With Your Husband” and now “She Whooped Me Good” that hehas been billed with renowned artists such as the late great Bill Coday and J. Blackfoot. “Terry” have also been billed with Denise LaSalle, Carl Marshall, Latimore, Sir Charles Jones, Shirley Brown, Karen Wolfe, Bobby Rush, Carl Sims, Tre’ Williams, Andre’ Lee, Vic Allen, James Smith, and Willie Clayton to name a few.
